Jim Yates, a former counsel to the Assembly Speaker and former State Supreme Court Justice joined us to discuss the Governor’s bail reform proposal. Please note: While Yates is a member of JCOPE; the Bail Reform Committee of the Criminal Justice Section of the NYS Bar Association; and member of both the Criminal Law Committee of the NY City Bar Association. and member of the Bail SubGroup of the Office of Court Administration Justice Task Force, he is speaking on his own behalf, and not as a representative of any of these organizations.
