This week, the Assembly will host a hearing on what the state can do with the old, broken and outdated electronic equipment with which we are quickly filling landfills. Our e-waste, which has spiked in quantity, has a mix of valuable metals, like copper and gold, as well toxic chemicals that pose a threat to safety and the environment.
