On Monday we asked NYSUT President Karen Magee about school aid as well as the opt-out movement which is seeing signs of strength this week. SUNY Buffalo Law School’s Jeffrey Wice discussed SCOTUS’s unanimous ruling in Evenwel v. Abbott. We sat down for an especially candid conversation with Senate Deputy Majority Leader John DeFrancisco who shared insights into the divisions in his conference and what ultimately brought them together on the budget. And in preparation for the New York State primary, long-time political strategist Bruce Gyory dissected which geographic region of New York State each party’s most active voters hail from.
