Just a few weeks ago we gathered 4 experts at the studios of WCNY in Syracuse to talk about the “creative economy”. It’s a lot bigger than many people realize – so big, that the UN estimates it is a multi-trillion dollar industry world wide. The Creative Economy includes more than the arts. It can include hemp farms, graphic design, journalism, and historic preservation. But the thread that binds all the different pieces of the creative economy together is the inability of machines to replace the people who do these jobs.
