State Republican Chairman Ed Cox joins Susan Arbetter to discuss presidential politics. The Brennan Center for Justice, along with several other plaintiffs, has filed a lawsuit contesting New York State’s LLC campaign finance laws. The Brennan Center’s Counsel Brent Ferguson makes the case against allowing LLCs, several of which can be owned by a single person, to have the same campaign contribution limit as individuals. The 2015 session ended without state oversight for the East Ramapo school board. This morning, we host East Ramapo CSD Board President Yehuda Weissmandl, who explains the push to keep local control, his response to community and outside opposition, as well as his vision for the district.
