Nicole Gelinas, a senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute, contributing editor to City Journal and columnist at the NY Post, explained the new short-term rental statute Governor Cuomo signed in to law last week, as well as the lawsuit AirBnB filed in response. We discussed the new PEF contract with union President Wayne Spence. EJ McMahon, founder and research director of the Empire Center, offered his critique of the contract – or at least what we know of it.
